OUR MISSION IS UNITED
The United Nations has developed 17 Priority Goals for Sustainable Development globally: The 6th Goal is Protecting Water and the 12th Goal is Responsible Consumption and Production.
WATE's Mission aligns with these two goals in our quest to share verifiable research about Textile & Apparel water waste with Brands, Consumers and the Wider Research Community

The Research Institute coordinates and collaborates with Global Institutes on gathering available and verifiable research across the below areas:
-
The extreme Water Consumption, Waste and Pollution linked to Textile and Apparel production
-
Newer Textile & Apparel technology solutions that create dramatically less Water Waste
-
Coordinate relevant research alternatives for long-term, fully Biodegradable fibers and yarns
